Huawei Pocket S foldable phone is set to launch on November 2 at an event starting at 7 PM (China time). The company has also published a video teaser revealing the exciting theme for this cheap flip-style foldable device.
Currently, Huawei has not shown any aesthetics of this upcoming foldable phone but the Pocket S is likely to be a stripped version of its predecessor. Also, the major change may possibly be the processor and camera megapixels, while the rest of the design is likely to be identical.

The Huawei P50 Pocket includes two displays, one on the cover and the other on the main screen at 6.9 inches. The main screen ranges at 120Hz refresh rate 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 300Hz touch sampling rate, while the cover display ranges at up to 60Hz refresh rate and 120hz touch sampling rate.
Talking about the resolution, the main screen features an FHD+ resolution including 2790 x 1188 pixels, while the cover screen has 340 x 340 pixels. On the other side, you will get image quality at 442 PPI on the main and 328 on the cover screen.
This phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G chipset with octa-core architecture including (1 x Cortex-X1 at 2.84 GHz + 3 x Cortex-A78 at 2.42 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A55 at 1.8 GHz) and Adreno 660 GPU for faster graphics performance.
The phone ships with HarmonyOS 2 but the company will hold Huawei Pocket S with HarmonyOS 3 and the new features.
This phone is a camera magician, as there are three rear cameras – a 40 MP True-Chroma Camera (f/1.8 aperture), 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (f/2.2 aperture), and 32 MP Ultra Spectrum Camera (f/1.8 aperture). Coming to the front side, you will get a 10.7 MP selfie camera with a wide angle and f/2.2 aperture.
In terms of power, the phone brings you a 4000mAh battery that is supported by 40W supercharging.
