Last year, Huawei skipped the launch of a new LTE smartwatch. Therefore, it would be better if the LTE-powered Huawei Watch 4 launched in the first quarter of this year.
First unveiled in 2021, Huawei Watch 3 series consist of a standard and a Pro model. The Watch 3 smartwatches are also the first to feature a pre-installed HarmonyOS 2 operating system, moving forward from lite OS.
These are the first smartwatches to bring native LTE connectivity and a variety of smart features that won’t let you feel the requirement of simple tasks.
Later in 2021, Huawei unveiled Watch GT 4, which promoted sports and activity features. Interestingly, the standard version was introduced initially in the global market. In the following year, the company brought in a standard and a Pro version of the watch for Chinese users.
Throughout the year, Huawei rolled out new versions and designs for the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro including the premium and ceramic versions.
Still, Huawei chose to distance itself from a new LTE smartwatch launch. But the Chinese tech maker made up two of the most innovative smart wearables – Watch GT Cyber, which supports a detachable watch face.
The other one is Huawei Watch Buds, which comes with a flip to open watch face and contains wireless earphones inside.
Huawei P60:
Huawei is preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone, the P60 series and it could come on stage around the first quarter, and the tech maker could also utilize this venue to bring in the Watch 4 series.
Currently, Huawei has not revealed any plans on the launch date for the Watch 4 series but we could expect it to come as we move towards the launch season. Meanwhile, Huawei is ready to install a new design and features. Moreover, we could relate this smartwatch to the latest HarmonyOS operating system.
There’s a lot more to know about the upcoming Huawei Watch 4 and we will keep you posted.
