Today, Honor launched Honor Magic 5 Pro at MWC 2023 and it comes with a powerful camera system that is ranked 1st on DXOMARK camera ranking above Huawei Mate 50 Pro.
According to DXOMARK, Honor Magic 5 Pro comes achieved 152 points for the rear camera and 151 points for the display. On the other hand, selfie, audio, and battery results aren’t announced yet. Huawei Mate 50 Pro had 149 points for the rear camera, 145 points for a selfie, 144 points for audio, 141 points for display, and 103 points for the battery.
DXOMARK reveals that Honor Magic 5 Pro is excellent for photographing family and friends, it has fast and accurate autofocus in challenging light conditions. It is excellent for low-light imaging and has great zoom performances at all ranges.
On the other hand, well-rounded display performances with well-turned brightness and good picture rendering. Excellent management of color and contrast on the screen and no display flicker.
In terms of cons, the device has an occasional unnatural rendering of details in images, and a little shutter lag in high-contrast lighting situations. On the other hand, it has display tends to lose some contrast when high brightness mode is activated.
The Honor Magic 5 Pro has three rear cameras, all of which are high quality. It has a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, and the size is 1/1.12-inch.
It supports 2.8um four-in-one equivalent pixels and OIS optics + Anti-shake. There is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 1/2 inch in size, supports 122-degree super wide-angle, 2.5cm super macro. Third, comes a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, which supports 3.5X optical zoom, 100X maximum zoom, and OIS optical anti-shake shake.
The 1/1.12-inch sensor on the Honor Magic5 Pro is 41% larger than the 1/1.33-inch sensor on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. In terms of aperture, the Honor Magic 5 Pro has a specification of f/1.6, which is significantly ahead of the f/1.78 of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
With the super light sensitivity achieved by the super large sensor + super large aperture, the comprehensive light sensitivity of the main camera of the Honor Magic 5 Pro is 63% stronger than that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
