Honor will launch Magic 5 series smartphones on February 27, at MWC 2023 but its Chinese version is likely to clash with the Huawei P60 series in March this year.
According to the information coming from Weibo tipster DigitalChatstation, Honor will launch the Magic 5 series Chinese version in March similar to the Huawei P60 series. It will make the phones come in head-to-head competition on the homeground.
Honor will boast the Magic 5 series with its best camera as the past renders reveal a new triangle camera arrangement featuring 100X periscope zoom on the top. On the other hand, the camera has its largest sensor and aperture to provide better light intake in photographs.
It will adapt new charging and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset, this Honor device will also run new MagicOS 7 software.
On the flip side, the Huawei P60 series will be the best-ever camera smartphone with special features. The phone will use variable aperture camera technology tuned by the XMAGE imaging system.
Looking into the camera system, Huawei P60 Pro will get you the current biggest sensor to provide the best nighttime and daylight photograph experience.
Huawei will also ship a fast 88W charger with this new flagship and prepare a brand-new camera design for a better user experience. For now, both Huawei nor Honor has not confirmed the Chinese launch of these flagship devices but it’ll come very soon.
