Huawei is about to break the barrier by launching two new flagships in the first quarter of this year, after a long haul in the dual flagship tradition.
The Huawei P60 series will launch on March 23 alongside the Huawei Mate X3 foldable device. These two phones will put on new technologies and will bring them in front of consumers.
However, this situation wasn’t the same for the past two years due to the U.S. restrictions. Following the events of 2019, Huawei’s supply chain was distributed badly. The Chinese tech maker had issues in buying components to build new smartphones.
In 2020, Huawei introduced P40 and Mate 40 series together in the same year. But, the 12 months were pretty challenging and Huawei delayed the launch of its next flagship.
After many postpone and reschedulings, the Huawei P50 series debuted in July 2021 with a new design and better camera system. Yet, the company later lost access to the Kirin chipset, hence, it used the Qualcomm chipset only.
In 2021, Huawei announced the P50 series as the sole flagship. In the following year, Huawei promoted Mate 50 series in October. This flagship brought many new and powerful technologies.
In 2022, Huawei unveiled a flagship from the traditional Mate series, which settled the score of P and Mate devices. This math accounted single flagship for each year.
In 2023, Huawei is running with the schedule and promoting these new devices on time. What’s more interesting is that Huawei is kicking off this year with the launch of two flagship in the first quarter.
This is major progress made by the Chiense tech maker and the company is clearly indicating a launch window for the Huawei Mate 60 series for the second half of this year.
For now, Huawei fans are waiting eagerly for the launch of the Huawei P60 series and Mate X3. For that, we’ll keep you posted with more news on this matter.
