Huawei is all set to launch Huawei Nova 11 series on April 17 and the company will unveil these new Nova devices with variable aperture camera technology.
According to the information coming from tipster Classmateguan, Huawei Nova 11 lineup supports a variable aperture camera. For the first time, the tech will debut in a mid-range smartphone.
Last month, Huawei launched the P60 series flagship, which supports variable aperture and it can be adjusted arbitrarily between F/1.4-F/4.0.
Similar to its name, the size of the aperture can be changed to select the amount of light passing through the camera per unit of time, which can better match different scenarios.
In the photography industry, the aperture adjustment feature plays a major role in portrait shots. A large aperture can blur the background and bring subject details to the surface. Simultaneously, a large aperture provides bright images in low-light situations.
Other than camera functionality, Huawei Nova 11 also equips the RYYB color array for the main camera sensor and provides an ultra-bright night photography experience.
Previous information reveals that Huawei Nova 11 series could bring powerful performance using a Qualcomm processor. However, the exact name of the chipset is yet to come.
Looking at the design, the promo poster of the lineup reveals a plain leather green version. The appearance also consists of a camera module similar to the P60 series.
