Huawei Mate X3 is 1 gram light than iPhone 14 Pro Max and it makes it the lightest foldable phone on the planet. Guess what? This foldable device is now making its way to the first sale in China.
Huawei Mate X3 in China comes in two versions – Soft screen and glass screen – Collector’s Edition. These start at 12999 yuan (1890 USD) and 15999 yuan (2326 USD) respectively. On the flip side, it will unveil in May for global consumers.
Huawei Mate X3:
Huawei Mate X3 launched the Beidou satellite two-way SMS feature. Users can send and receive messages through satellites even when there is no mobile network available. It can ensure timely contact for rescue in extreme outdoor situations.
Huawei Mate X3 supports Huawei Network communication technology. It includes the first Huawei RFC patented antenna, the signal is better than the previous generation, the whole link coordination has greatly improved the network speed, the Wi-Fi download speed has been improved, and the network does not freeze.
Looking at the build quality, Huawei Mate X3 has reduced the weight of the screen by 28% and the weight of the body material by 20%. Making it the first horizontal foldable phone that is lighter and thinner than a traditional mobile device.
Also, the weight of the entire device is only 239g. It makes the phone lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the unfolded thickness is only 5.3mm.
The main display expands at 7.85 inches, while the cover screen measures 6.4 inches. Both the inner and cover screens support a 120Hz high refresh rate.
Furthermore, the cover screen also uses Huawei’s self-developed Kunlun glass, which increases upto 10 times drop resistant.
Huawei Mate X3 series is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ chipset. The whole lineup is equipped with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The phone has a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle cam, and a 12MP periscope camera with 5x zoom.
This foldable phone has a large 4800mAh battery (5060mAh for the Collector’s Edition), which supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
